About me
I began my Chinese studies in 1999 at Lund University, and graduated from the same University as PhD in 2010. As an undergraduate, I also spent a few years at BLCU and PKU in Beijing. In addition to Chinese, I have also studied Linguistics (Lund), History of Ideas (Lund), German (Stockholm) and Theoretical Philosophy (Stockholm).
My main research focus hitherto has been within the field of Chinese linguistics, especially word class theory and temporal semantics. I have also done work on Chinese literary history. After having translated a Chinese novel into Swedish, I have also started to take an interest in Translation Studies.
For the autumn semester 2020, I taught the following courses:
- Introduction to China Studies (Chinese I)
- Translation in Theory and Practice (Chinese V)
- Advanced Chinese I (MAAS)
