Researcher at the Social Policy Unit, SOFI, Stockholm University, and assistant professor at the Department of Labour and Social Policy, Poznan University of Economics, Poland.
Master of political science (2011), PhD in economics (2017).
Research areas: student support and tuition fees, higher education policy, comparative political economy, educational inequalities.

Supervision of bachelor's and master's students at the Department of Sociology, Stockholm University
I'm currently researching two main topics: the causes and consequences of student funding policies, and organisational stratification in higher education. Additionally, I'm continuously developing the Student Support and Fees Dataset.
In the research project funded by FORTE (2023-2025), I study how student support and tuition fee systems across countries are associated with student welfare and whether these associations have consequences for higher education participation.
I'm also a Principal Investigator of the project "To borrow or not to borrow? Cross-country comparative analyses of student loan take-up", financed by the Riksbankens Jubileumsfond (2025-2027).
