About me

PhD Student - Prof. Kálmán Szabó Group - Department of Organic Chemistry

Research

My research work is addressing the development of methods for fluorine-18 labelling of small peptide drug conjugates (PDC) and their metabolites to use

them as radiotracers for the clinical imaging technique positron emission tomography (PET). Labelling of an alkylating anti-cancer drug is the main target of my current project. Furthermore, we are extending the methodologies to different representatives and their metabolites of this substance class.

Subsequently, the final labelled radiotracers will be used in in vitro and in vivo PET studies to gain crucial information about the bioavailability and bioactivity of the corresponding drugs.
