About me

I am a research assistant working with Ann-Zofie Duvander on a project on differences in the care gap between parental leave and kindergarten in Sweden.
My master thesis, which I am currently writing, I am studying the relationship between gender, length of parental leave and working hours in Sweden.
After finishing my BA in Sociology from the University of Iceland, I worked as a data analyst for Gallup Iceland for 9 years. My work there mostly revolved around reporting and analysing data for workplace audits. After that I worked for two years as a project manager at the National University Hospital of Iceland. There I was responsible for setting up, analysing and reporting results for the Patient Satisfaction Survey and analysing various data from the hospital’s data warehouse. Now I am finishing my master’s degree in Applied Social Research at Stockhom University.
