Laura Seidel Postdoctoral researcher

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Clare Bradshaw´s group where we investigate the effects of bottom trawling on seabed processes and sediments. My research interest includes biogeochemistry, benthic microbes, and their nutrient- and energy cycling.

I am a marine microbiologist/ecologist and and during my PhD studies I focused my research on the effects of environmental changes (such as temperature due to climate change) on the energy- and nutrient cycling of surface sediment and overlying bottom water bacteria.
