I am a PhD student in the ATLAS Collaboration at Stockholm University and part of the SHIFT project, a joint theoretical and experimental effort to solve the higgs fine-tuning problem with top partners. Both under the supervision of Sara Strandberg.
Currently I am working on the direct search for supersymmetric top-quark pair production in final states with missing energy and one lepton. I also perform flavour-tagging calibration, calculating the mis-tag rate of light quarks by b-tagging algorithms.
This project aims at developing a new class of experimental probes for new Higgs-like spin-0 particles with the ATLAS experiment at LHC, and to interpret the experimental results in complete models that predict primordial Gravitational Waves (GW).
In the Standard Model, the mass of the Higgs boson is greatly destabilised by quantum corrections, and free parameters of the model need to be extremely fine-tuned in order to arrive at the measured Higgs mass.
