PhD
Lina Lundström is a doctor in Children and Youth studies and wrote her thesis about the performing of friendship among upper secondary school students. She is an ethnographer who is interested in social relations among children and youth.
Teaching
Lina Lundström is tutoring students at Undergraduate level as well as lecturing on themes such as social relations in schools, friendship cultures, social inclusion and exclusion and (video-) etnography.

Lundström's research centers around friendship and how to understand processes of friendship through using cultural sociology and culture pragmatic theory. Through long term videoetnografic studies among upper secondary school students she has been able to observe and interview the students to widen the understanding of which factors that are seen as important for the students when it comes to inclusion and exclusion, i.e. friendship.
