About me
Lazar Rusu, Dr., Docent, is Professor at Department of Computer and Systems Sciences, Stockholm University, Sweden. He is involved in teaching and research in IT management and IT governance and has a professional experience of over 35 years both industrial and academic in information systems area. Professor Rusu is leading the research group in IT Management and Governance at Department of Computer and Systems Sciences (DSV). His research interest is mainly in business-IT alignment, IT governance, IT outsourcing, and digital transformation. The results of his research have been published in proceedings of top international conferences in Information Systems area like ECIS, HICSS, AMCIS, PACIS, ISD and journals like Computers in Human Behavior, Industrial Management & Data Systems, Information Systems Management, Journal of Global Information Technology Management, Journal of Information Technology Theory and Applications, among others. Professor Rusu has been involved as project leader and member in different grants and research projects in IT and Education areas with research funds coming from EU and national research funding agencies. He is a Distinguished Member of Association for Information Systems, recipient of the prestigious IBM Academic Award and among the Outstanding Reviewer Award Winners at Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS 2020).
