Zeglio´s group focuses on organic bioelectronics. Her Team is driven by the need for materials with the properties needed for device function and that better integrate into life and the environment.

About me

I graduated with a M.Sc. in Materials Science & Engineering from EPFL (Switzerland) in 2022. During my third year of bachelor, I did an exchange at KTH in 2019. I completed my Master's thesis in the Surface Chemistry and Corrosion group under the supervision of Prof. Mark Rutland (KTH) and Esther Amstad (EPFL), where I studied the nanopatterning of branched fatty acids at the water-air interface using atomic force microscopy (AFM), Langmuir-Blodgett (LB), and grazing incidence X-ray scattering experiments (GIXD and GISAXS).

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. on biodegradable organic electrochemical devices as part of the Wallenberg Initiative Materials Science for Sustainability (WISE).

My research focuses on biodegradable organic electronics, investigating stability, performance and tailoring degradability; to reduce electronic waste or eliminate the need retrieval surgery for bioimplants.
