Career Development and Guidance

Career Development and Guidance is an international research area which focuses on youth and adult learning in relation to educational and vocational choices and their career development and mobility.

Adult Learning

The research group has a broad interest in adults learning from adolescence to older ages. We study formal learning in adult education, higher education and popular education, but also learning in informal setting such as working and leisure life. We have a specific interest in studying transitions between different life events, education, and work.

About me

I am enrolled within the framework graduate school - Finding paths in a time of major future challenges (FinnFram) - focused on career learning, career guidance and transitions between school, tertiary education, and employment.
My thesis explores the higher artistic educations in Sweden and Denmark with a focus on the development of professional identity of the students.

Prior to my enrollment at SU I have been working seven years with International Relations at The Danish National School of Performing Arts where I have engaged in various international projects focusing on developing sustainable artistic career paths for students.
I hold a Bachelor degree in Comparative Literature and a Master degree in Education from University of Copenhagen, through which I have developed a special interest in the intersections between pedagogy, art and culture.
