About me
I'm a graduate student in translation studies at SU and employed as a student worker at the administrative unit of the Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism since April, 2025. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Translation Studies in 2024. For my bachelor thesis, I translated an excerpt from a modern epic poem (Information Desk by Robyn Schiff) and wrote a commentary focusing on the Skopos theory and Gideon Toury's operational norms. In the spring of 2025, I completed a 15-credit master thesis about paratexts in all hitherto published Swedish translations of Shakespeare's 154 sonnets. My Master of Arts in Translation Studies is set to be completed in June, 2026.
