Our research focuses on the development of efficient and selective homogeneous and heterogeneous catalytic reactions for the construction of carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bonds, with application to the late-stage functionalization of complex organic molecules.

About me

Background: B.Sc in Chemistry and M.Sc in Organic Chemistry from Stockholm University. Master thesis with Docent Magnus Johansson at AstraZeneca R&D Gothenburg. Currently a PhD candidate in the group of Prof. Belén Martín-Matute.

Research interest: Heterogeneous catalysis with focus on sustainability for organic synthesis.

Popular science description: My research work concerns development of recyclable catalytic materials for selective synthesis of higher order amines via activation of inert chemical bonds. We explore different materials such as cellulose nano materials (CNM) and metal organic frameworks (MOFs) to design single-site supported metal catalysts which can be recovered and reused. The heterogeneous catalytic system is applied to late-stage functionalization of complex organic molecules.
