Research group

Air-Sea Interactions

We are investigating ocean processes that govern the release of short-lived climate forcers , such as volatile organic compounds, aerosol particles, methane and carbon dioxide. By understanding these processes, we can better assess their role in the climate system and their connection to marine ecosystems.

About me

I have a background in laser spectroscopy, atmospheric chemistry and engineering.

As research technician I am the engineer behind WEGAS - our "Water Equilibration Gas Analyser System" which allows real-time monitoring of greenhouse gases and some of their isotopes in the water column.

Besides this, I am in charge of IT and focus on IT infrastructure, data acquisition, databases, and more general IT issues.
