About me

I am a seasoned IT professional based in Stockholm, Sweden, with over a decade of experience in managing complex projects in educational and technical domains. Currently, I serve as Information Security Specialist at the IT Department of Stockholm University. Prior to this role, I served as IT Support Manager and Communications Manager.

My main job responsibilities are:

• Work strategically with other specialists to develop university information management and inventory.
• Conduct and/or participate in risk and gap analyses.
• Assist in audits of the organization's information security work.
• Develop methodological support for information security.
• Resolve issues within the field of information security.
• Assist the organization in improving the security culture at the university through education and support.
• Overall coordinate and lead security reviews, security evaluations.
• Guide and follow up on actions taken due to identified vulnerabilities from security reviews in collaboration with the administrative organization and architects.
• Contribute to monitoring developments in Information and IT security, analyze, convey, and recommend relevant security measures related to current events, threats, and vulnerabilities.
• Review proposed solutions and technical approaches in collaboration with IT architects.

I recently completed a diploma in Full Stack Software Development from Code Institute, Dublin. My technical skills span across Agile methodologies, Python programming with a focus on machine learning algorithms, and web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. I am proficient in using databases like MySQL and Postgres and familiar with version control systems like Git.

My project portfolio includes machine learning projects aimed at predictive analytics, as well as various web development initiatives. I am bilingual, proficient in Swedish, English, and Persian, and certified in Project Management and Agile Foundations.
