About me

Natalie Nielsen is a doctoral candidate at the Department of Education at Stockholm University. Prior to her PhD studies, Natalie held the position of Director of International Affairs at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University. In her position as Director of International Affairs, Natalie had the overall responsibility for the department's international academic partnerships, exchange programs, and the overall management of these.

Natalie’s research interests include understanding how students in higher education learn from their study abroad experience and how this relates to identity work. The relevance of research on how students learn from a study abroad experience will add to the knowledge base of studies that examine experiences of student learning in higher education.
