About me

I am an historical geographer and a PhD student at the department of Human Geography. My PhD project explores historical flood plain land use in Sweden from the middle ages to the end of the 19th century. I am especially interested in the processes that have affected changes in floodplain land use during the period, as well as how that development reflects the wider human-environment relationship.

My broader research interests also include general agrarian history (especially land use history), GIS and landscape theory.

Apart from this, I am also working for a project at the national archives named TORA (Topografiskt Register) and conducting historical-geographical anlyses in contract archaeological projects.
