About me
I am a teacher in lower and upper secondary school as well as a special needs teacher. I have 15 years of experience teaching students who are deaf or hard of hearing, both as a teacher and as a special needs teacher.
My research concerns the intersection between disability and migration and focuses on how schools investigate support needs and implement support measures for students who are deaf or hard-of-hearing and have a migration background. The students' and parents' experiences of the school situation are also part of the research.
I am involved in a Nordic research group that is currently carrying out the research project Deaf Education in the Nordic Countries.
