About me
PhD candidate
My research focuses on analyzing star clusters and stellar clumps in high-redshift galaxies that are highly magnified by strong gravitational lensing. This is achieved by modeling the spectral energy distribution of these objects using photometric observations from JWST and its NIRCam instrument.
I address the question of how galaxies build up their mass and evolve through cosmic time by breaking them down into their building blocks. The aim is to establish correlations between cluster/clump properties and those of the host galaxy, such as stellar mass, metallicity and age. This study will be of paramount importance once the ELT is operational and can conduct spectroscopy of the faint, clumpy components of high-redshift galaxies.
