Simo Vehmas

I am professor of special education and I have focussed in my own research on theoretical and ethical issues related to disability. I have discussed issues such as the ontological formation as well as the moral and political significance of disability. In recent years, I have engaged with empirical research concerning persons with profound intellectual and multiple disabilities.
