About me

I got my Ph.D. in analytical chemistry in 2018 at the Department of Chemistry at Kharazmi University, Tehran, Iran.  In 2017, I did part of my Ph.D. thesis at the ACES, Stockholm University. The focus of my Ph.D. was on the development and application of Bucky gel Nanocomposite (Combination of Ionic liquids (ILs) and magnetic nanoparticles) for microextraction of organic and inorganic compounds from environmental and biological samples.

ILs were considered as suitable choices for replacement with the traditional volatile organic solvents in the extraction of hydrophobic compounds from the complicated matrices.

The role of ILs with unique physicochemical properties in separation science and sample preparation techniques for biomolecule analysis such as proteins and peptides is the field of my interest.

I also obtained experience in the Proteomics field at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, KTH royal institute of technology during 2018. The project was on the Analysis of posttranslational modifications of glycoproteins by mass spectrometry techniques including MALDI.  In 2019, I followed my proteomics study at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, BMC, Uppsala University as a scholar Postdoc. The study was on the Evaluation and application of methods to capture weak and transient protein-protein interactions. I have joined the Native Mass Spectrometry project in the group of Dr. Leolold Ilag at the MMK in 2020 to conduct postdoc research. The aim of the project is developing methods for mass spectrometry and ion mobility analysis of recombinant proteins and protein complexes.
