About me

I am a postdoctoral researcher interested in population ecology. Particularly, my research interests are:

  • Understanding the effects of environmental variation on species population dynamics.
  • Life history variation across environmental gradients.
  • Host-parasite interactions and dynamics.

The goal of my main project at Stockholm University is to understand the effects of environmental variation on species population performance. Specifically, I try to understand how local adaptation can modify the response of populations (i.e. vital rates and population growth rates) to environmental changes, and evaluate how these relationships may affect species abundance and distribution patterns. I am using transplantation experiments to evaluate the population response of the forest species Peltigera aphthosa (lichen) and Hylocomiastrum umbratum (moss) across microclimatic gradients in Sweden.
