About me

Stefan is a Graduate Student at the IIES. He obtained his Bachelor and Master in Economics from the University of Cologne and a Master of Advanced Economics from the University of Queensland. Stefan's research interest lies within macroeconomics, more specifically environmental macroeconomics. He is interested in the role of energy and different energy types for the economy, how these roles change over time and what implications this has for the energy transition away from fossil fuels and the impact on climate change.
