About me
The topic of my PhD project Diktens gyllne dar: Den pastorala koden i svensk litteratur 1753–1876 (The Golden Days of Poetry: The Pastoral Code in Swedish Literature 1753–1876) (2025) is the different functions of pastoral in Swedish literature from the Mid-Eighteenth Century to the second half of the Nineteenth Century. I am particularly interested in themes such as temporality, genre, protofeminism and patriotism. My dissertation examines writings by Hedvig Charlotta Nordenflycht (1718–1763), Gustaf Philip Creutz (1731–1785), Erik Johan Stagnelius (1793–1823), Julia Nyberg/Euphrosyne (1785–1854) and Magnus Elmblad (1848–1888), among others.
