1. About me/ Om mig (70-100 words)

I’m a 2nd year PhD candidate from Beijing University of Technology, Beijing, P. R. China. My major is in Applied Chemistry. courses I have taken includeMembrane Separation Technology and Application, Nano-science, Polymer Science, Advanced Analytical Chemistry. Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Principle of Chemical Engineering. I’m skilled in solving scientific problems with Auto CAD 2010, Origin, ChemDraw, 3ds Max, etc.

 

 2. Research/ Forskning (10-30 words)

Research: I focus on in-situ preparation of inorganic thin film composite membranes for separation.

3. On-going projects/ Pågående project (100-200 words)

I’m currently working on developing MOF hybrid membranes. The network, charge and interface voids of membranes can be fine-tuned by controlling the type of polymer and annealing process. Meanwhile, I have fabricated a vertically aligned CoAl-LDH composite membrane formed on a ceramic tubular substrate for dehydration of organic solvents. The interlayer galleries in CoAl-LDH laminates can be used as channels for water separation. The vertically aligned nano-channels could enhance the mass transfer efficiency of molecules to obtain high permeability.
