Eligibility for the programme:

About required degree and English language requirement.

Answer:
For eligibility we require an undergraduate (Bachelor equivalent) degree in any field. Please note that you also have to document a sufficient level English-language skills to be deemed eligible. See below for more information.

Answer:
The requirement is proficiency in English equivalent of the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.

All applicants can meet the requirement with the required score on an internationally recognised English test. Upper secondary and university studies in some countries can also meet the requirement. Relevant work and research experience:

Answer:
As work experience counts paid or volunteer work at an authority, organisation or other workplace with relevance to public health sciences. To have worked as a research assistant is considered a merit if the research field is within or closely related to public health sciences. Proof is required and should be uploaded via one the following websites: link to universityadmissions.se or link to antagning.se.

Answer:
Research experience that you have gained within your undergraduate studies is considered a merit if the conducted research is within, or closely related to, public health sciences.

Answer:
By filling in the relevant section in the CV form as well as uploading an official certificate of verification from your employer (issued in English or Swedish). This should include your employer’s name, position and signature. If the work experience isn’t verified you will not get any merit points in the selection process.

Question:
Apart from the documents required by universityadmissions.se, are any of the following documents mandatory or recommended?
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Motivation Letter or Statement of Purpose
• Proof of Work, Volunteer, or Leadership Experience
• Letters of recommendation

Answer:

• The CV form downloaded from our website PHSAN - Stockholms universitet is required.
• If you have filled in relevant work experience/research experience in the CV form, an official certificate of verification of this experience is required.
• In the CV form you can explain your motivation, so no separate Statement of Purpose is necessary.
• Letters of recommendation will not be taken into account.

Answer:
All required documents must be uploaded via www.universityadmissions.se or www.antagning.se. You will find the section "Upload educational documents" under "My pages". Please do not send any documents directly to the Department of Public Health Sciences.

Answer:
Documents such as diplomas and transcrips should be in original, in color and in readable condition. The CV form can be uploaded as a word or pdf file.
