Research project Teachers’ movement patterns (in the classroom)
Heatmap of how a teacher moves in a classroom.
The project intends to develop methods and instructions for collecting and analyzing teachers’ movement data in connection with classroom teaching. The intention is to develop the teachers’ teaching skills and thereby increase goal fulfillment in schools.
Centered on the needs of the school, and in close collaboration with school staff, the IoT technology solution is further developed iteratively in a way that facilitates use, implementation and scaling up.
In parallel with this work, methods and strategies are also being developed for successful, business-oriented implementation of IoT technology in school environments.
The project is carried out in a collaboration between Stockholm University, RISE, ATEA, and a large number of education administrations and schools in Sweden.
