In the area, the preschool, leisure center and school are studied as social institutions, its organization, management, quality, content, collaboration with other bodies in society.
Here, the profession, leadership, education and further education of preschool teachers, teachers and principals in relation to current governing documents, policies and laws are also examined. Practical research is carried out here together with pedagogical activities.
The area also contains studies of how sustainability and environmental issues affect the Preschool, School-Age Education and School's development and place in society, as well as children's opportunities for influence, participation, learning and development now and in the future.
