Environmental history and human-animal studies are emerging research fields, together with research on the Anthropocene and global warming. Within Environmental Humanities, researchers investigate relationships between humans and animals, and between humans and the environment, now and in the past. Through this research, we are also active participants in research networks at Stockholm University and beyond in grappling with one of the biggest and most acute challenges facing society today.
