The law of association is the set of laws and rules that govern various associations of members or partners. This includes, for example, the formation of different associations, questions of responsibility and organisation within the association, and the rights and obligations of the legal entities involved.
Association law can be divided into company law and association law. Company law deals with the creation and dissolution of associations, companies and foundations. It also deals with who may represent forms of association in contracts and the characteristics of the various forms of association. Association law deals with the rules governing economic and non-profit associations. It covers, among other things, the right of employers and employees to form and belong to different employers' or employees' organisations.
