Ilona Riipinen works with her colleagues mainly on atmospheric calculation models that represent the processes that control the development and effects of atmospheric aerosol populations. They model the evolution of atmospheric aerosol from molecular to global scale, with close connection to experimental data from both laboratory and field studies.
