Middle Eastern and North African Studies - Bachelor's Course
The course contains third term studies in Middle East and North Africa studies and leads to a Bachelor's degree in the Middle East's languages and cultures.
Within this course, the student will study Middle Eastern and North African Politics and Economy and write a Bachelor’s thesis.
Middle Eastern and North African Politics and Economy, 15 credits
The course offers an introduction to the political and economic landscape of the Middle East and North Africa and addresses the potential for democratization and economic development in the region. The course deals with both the politics and economy of the region, as well as earlier research and central theories on the subject
Lectures and seminars. For the Bachelor's thesis project , 15 credits, individual and group supervision will be given.

Course literatureNote that the course literature can be changed up to two months before the start of the course.
For the Bachelor's Thesis, 15 credits, students are expected to choose and use relevant literature in consultation with the supervisor.
