Evolutionary Biology, 15 credits

The course aims to give a wide insight into modern evolutionary theory and to give an evolutionary perspective on both current and past biodiversity patterns. The course aims for a broad knowledge in evolutionary patterns and processes, and it interacts with several disciplines such as ecology, ethology, genetics, and systematics. The emphasis will be on theoretical comprehension, reflection and discussion throughout the course. Course period: November-January.
