Animal Cognition, 7.5 credits

This course covers the cognitive capacity of animals with an interdisciplinary ethological, ecological and evolutionary perspective. We address topics such as animal communication and language, learning, social learning, memory, categorization and concept formation, spatial cognition and neurophysiology. Teaching consists of lectures, seminars and group work. The course period is November-December.
