Applied Marine Conservation Ecology, 15 credits

This course provides the knowledge and tools for Swedish and overseas students who plan to pursue a career in marine conservation and management and for students aiming at a higher academic degree in marine ecology. Students will obtain knowledge that is desirable to employers. Methods to assess and monitor marine populations are presented using marine mammals and fish as examples. Conservation issues are investigated in depth, and anthropogenic impacts addressed as part of all situations.
