Molecular Cell Biology, 15 credits

The course deals with molecular life processes, such as gene expression, ultrastructural organisation, motility and communication, in eukaryotic cells. The aim is to reach the issues that characterise today's front-line in research. Practical laboratory work is used to illustrate cell culture, fluorescence microscopy and macromolecular fractionation. The course also includes literature symposia. Course period: September - November.
