Biological Statistics III, 7.5 credits

About the course

This course teaches advanced statistical methods for modern biology research. This includes linear models with multiple independent variables, statistical models with several levels of random variation (repeated measures, mixed models), new computer intensive methods (e.g. bootstap, MCMC), as well as Bayesian models and hypothesis testing. Hands-on application of the methods in biological research is in focus.

Course period: December - January.
