Migration and Economic Structures 1700-2010

The focus of this course is to analyze economic restructuring in different historical periods and geographical areas. Migration will be of special interest, especially in connection to the production and reproduction of the global divisions of labour. Local, regional and global migration as well as push and pull factors for migrating will be discussed.
