Economic Crises and Businesses in Global History

This online course offers a historical overview of global economic crises, highlighting how actions taken by banks and corporations during periods of economic booms have led to profound downturns such as those experienced in the 1930s and 2008/2009.

The online course provides historical examples of how speculative bubbles have been followed by financial crises. The course also provides students with the theoretical tools needed to understand financial markets, entrepreneurship, and crisis management in times of change.
