Igneous and Metamorphic Petrology
The course deals with igneous and metamorphic petrology including the classification of igneous and metamorphic rocks, magmatic and metamorphic processes and their relationships with plate tectonic processes.
The course includes optical microscopy, phase diagrams and fieldwork.
