About the education

The course introduces the quantification and analysis of geoscientific data series. It provides basic knowledge in: probability analysis and statistics, interpolation, curve fitting, regression, time series analysis (even spectral analyis), statistical analysis of single and multiple variables (multi-variate analysis), vector analysis, ANOVA, and transformation of data. The course also includes planning of experiments.

The course is given by the Department of Geology and Geochemistry.
