Bachelor's Programme in Middle Eastern and North African studies
The Bachelor's Programme in Middle Eastern and North African Studies is an interdisciplinary programme.
The programme provides in-depth knowledge of the early and modern history of the Middle East and North Africa, religions, literature and culture, as well as political and economic development.
Particular focus is on contemporary social conditions and how these can be understood through an in-depth knowledge of the local situation, international conditions and the historical context. The programme is intended to provide very good knowledge of social conditions in the Middle East and North Africa.

Programme overview
The programme comprises 6 semesters of full-time studies and consists of four compulsory courses (of a total of 120 credits) and optional studies of a total of 60 credits.
