Purpose and learning objectives

The aim of the course is to give the student an insight into the working life for human geographers in order to make her/him employable.

Content and teaching methods

The student reflects for one thing on the industry for which (s)he is training and in what ways his/her own education answers to the competences required at the practice work-place, for another on the possibilities and limitations of the work at the practice work-place and the choices and prioritizations made. Furthermore the student will reflect upon the relations between the practice work-place and the wider society. The student will keep a journal of her/his time at the practice work-place.
