Migration and Social Change - a Life Course Perspective, 15 credits

About the course

This course deals with migration processes from a life course perspective; how social processes, such as migration, are shaped by events in the individual life. It combines studies of the literature with practical exercises in life course analysis, based on biographical interviews. The focus is on migration as a key event in the life course and as a process that shapes regions and places.
