Advanced Chinese I
The course trains the students to independently read and translate ordinary prose and scientific texts to and from Chinese as well as present the translations both orally and in written form in English and Chinese.
After the course the student is expected to be able to independently read and translate ordinary prose and scientific texts to and from Chinese.
All teaching and examination at the Department of Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish Studies will continue to be web-based throughout autumn semester 2021.

Assessment
The course is examined through a written assignment, an oral presentation and a longer translation assignment during the course.
