Soft Matter, 7.5 credits

There are many technically important materials and biomaterials that are "soft" at room temperature. Examples of such materials are: polymers, liquid crystals, colloids, and biomembranes. These materials are used in a wide range of technical and biotechnological applications. This course will deepen your understanding of the structure, dynamics and properties of these materials in a concerted manner and introduce you to some of their technical applications.

The course is a recommended course in the Masters program in Materials chemistry at Stockholm university.

Further course information will appear soon on this page. Until then, information can be found on the department website.
