Globalization and New Strategies for Economic Development, 7.5 credits

The course focuses on economic and social issues in Latin America during the 1990's. The neo-liberal paradigms are analyzed in relation to globalization, poverty, urbanization, inequality, and changes to the supply chain. New challenges and ideas in terms of the opportunities and difficulties of the continent are discussed.
