Analysis of Survival Data with Demographic Applications

  • 7.5 credits

The course gives an overview of the methods used in statistical analysis of event data (e.g. marriage, deaths, crime). Survival models are discussed and applied to real-life data mostly within demography/sociology but also in other subjects such as economics, business economics, criminology and medicine. The course also provides an introduction to suitable software packages for empirical analysis of event data.

Further course information will appear soon on this page. Until then, information can be found on the department website.
