Welfare Law, 7.5 credits

About the course

This course deals with Swedish welfare law in relation to international law and human rights with particular focus on children’s rights. We will be practising juridical analysis and problem solving by combining the law with relevant scientific, societal and ethical aspects of social work, as well as using critical thinking and reasoned argumentation for arriving at justified conclusions about the practice of law from different theoretical perspectives. Teaching is in the form of lectures and seminars with active student participation.
