Language Education - Theory, Method, Application
This is a course for you who want to improve your knowledge of language education. The course is given every spring as a freestanding course and for international students.
The course addresses theoretical and methodological perspectives in language education research. Results and pedagogical implications of empirical studies in language education are discussed and problematized. The focus is on learning and teaching foreign languages, as well as on language teacher and language learning cognitions about these issues.

Course structure
This course is taught online with no physical meetings.
We are using the e-meeting service Zoom for online teaching. It is free of charge for all students at Stockholm University:
The course uses Stockholm University's online learning platform, Athena for course information, course activities and assignments.
Teaching format
Instruction is given in the form of lectures and seminars. The course also involves individual work and work in small groups.
Assessment
Examination for this course consists of oral seminar assignments and written assignments.
