What do you work with?

”The library's mission is to support university students and researchers in today's information society and to promote the university's interests in this arena. In short, to ensure that researchers and students have access to the information they need and can disseminate their own work.

What type of support do you provide?

”We offer tutoring, digitizing, support for the publication of theses, and quality-reviewed publication through Stockholm University Press. Of course we lend materials at our library, too, but we also order in all the materials that researchers need.”

Where are you located and how can people contact you?

”Our online customer service works quite nicely, with both live chat and e-mail. You can also just go to the library. Frescati Library has the best opening hours and it is also where most of the researchers have their workplaces. It's also possible to schedule appointments.”

Do you have any major projects underway within the department?

”Right now we are working on a project about research data - the library is in charge but the entire leadership team is involved. We want to develop a workable structure and best practices for the University to manage our research data into the future."
